 Asrar was alone with the owner of the falafel kiosk, who raised the price as if it were on the public street, and secretly wished that the pigsty would remain until his bank account improved and he married his eldest son.

Televisions, almost bare-chested, their boobs quivering over light flannels attracting attention, and they drink beer like men. And this is characteristic of the great event that made this noise about complaining about the smell of pigs.

The elderly said that the events taking place, and the influx of many personalities, officials, journalists and associations, and sticking to radios, so as not to miss the news bulletins, reminded them of the Arab military coups that used to stop the radios so that one of the officers would read the first military statement in the name of the Revolutionary Council, and not another month would pass And if the radio announces a new first military statement about a new military coup and a new revolution council. Whenever an error occurs, or silence for a few seconds on the radio, the Arab becomes delusional that the broadcast has stopped announcing a new military coup, so he closes his ear to the radio so as not to miss the news of the new military coup, its details and the names of the new generals, but the only distinguishing feature that remains in the memory of the Arab military coups, What was changing in the language of the statement was only the names of the generals who formed the new Revolutionary Council, instead of the former traitorous generals. My father, may God have mercy on him, used to say sarcastically: “How many generals do the Arabs have… The more they number, the more lost we will be. The abundance of their military statements makes the listener think that they are preoccupied with wars against the enemies of the homeland, and it seems that the citizen has come to understand the tactics of war, better than the greatest general.” Today, when I take back his words, and review the defeats of the Arabs in the military, social, political, scientific and moral fields, I know exactly what he meant, or rather what he felt!!

The coups did not bring the Arabs but presidents for life in the presidency, they increased the poverty of the people and deservedly developed the security and repression apparatus as well as the patriotic songs that praise their accomplishments that are known only to the singer, the writer of words and the composer, to the extent that some think that the singers are charming beauty, and their semi-nude appearance arouses the enthusiasm of youth. The genius achievement of the military coups in the field of developing art and the performances of the beautiful girls!!

As for that event in the town, it was a coup of another kind, in which there were no soldiers or generals, unless we consider the party leaders who flocked to the town, which was almost forgotten, as political generals.

Yes, it was a coup that occupied the whole country and the world. Israel, they can no longer bear the strong smell of pigs emanating from the pigsty adjacent to the town and built on the confiscated lands of the residents…

Is it because we are Arabs that our right is always neglected?

This question filled the village space, and as usual, the authority denied any national connection to the issue of establishing a pigsty on the village lands, which were confiscated for the public good. A government spokesman said, “There is no relationship between the proposal to prevent Arabs from holding events commemorating the Nakba, and their right to protest against the smell. Comments on the disturbing topic amounted to more than eighty comments, but none of the commentators mentioned the problem of the neighborhood with the smell of pigs. Except for two commentators, the first asked forgiveness from God Almighty, and demanded the ethnic cleansing of pigs, as happened in Egypt, and the second commentator said in broken Arabic that what He says this about the ethnic elimination of pigs as a coward, and if his explicit name was mentioned in the comment, he would have been involved in an international human rights trial in The Hague.

 An angry journalist wrote in his weekly article, saying that he sent more than one serious comment on the news and pictures to the “al-Alaqah” website, but the website publishes only non-serious comments that have nothing to do with the exciting and disturbing issue for all the people of the country.

 One of the Arab citizens enthusiastically suggested that the problem be solved with a bullet in the pig’s head!

The proposal to shoot a pig in the head almost got involved in a judicial case, as they threatened to bring him to trial on charges of incitement to murder and bad language against pigs, and he might circumvent the killing of the owner of the barn as well, which is considered a breach of security, and an act of national terrorism endangering state security, so he hastened to publish an official apology In three newspapers, covering an entire page, he paid for it from his own pocket the wages of a full month and a half, announcing that he did not possess weapons at all, and that his proposal was utter stupidity on his part, and he apologized to the huge pig and to all his kind, “especially members of animal welfare societies.” The apology was incorrectly worded and funny, and it was fortunate for him that they did not understand the sentence as it was incorrectly worded in Arabic. He reassures Jewish farm owners and animal welfare societies that he does not belong to any terrorist or anti-Semitic organization, that he is a peaceful person, and is even willing to donate a full day of volunteer work in cleaning the barn as an expression of his remorse and retraction of what he said in a moment of loss of common sense. However, some party activists considered his willingness to volunteer as a kind of military service for the occupying country. So he also apologized to them, and declared that he was against all forms of volunteering, and God fought volunteerism and volunteers.

The question is, after slaughtering the entire herd with welcoming festivals and rhetoric, will the leaders visit the town to hear the complaints of its residents about the confiscation of the rest of their land and the expansion of the pig farm, in all directions, even though it constitutes an environmental blight, and caused the town to stop the natural growth, and even deprives it of land to build a new school that has become so urgent?

And an unexpected surprise occurred.. Even the various security agencies failed to anticipate the dangerous event..

In fact, no one knows how the situation exploded.. It is said that a clash occurred at dawn one day between children who, chanting the slogan “The pigs are out, out, the Arab land is free”” headed towards the barn. The police came to disperse them with tear gas, so the whole town entered the battle in defense of its people and their right to express their pain and misfortune from the barn, its pigs and its deadly smells. The violent confrontations expanded to include the neighboring towns, which claim that the smells are creeping in and that their lands were also confiscated, perhaps to establish new barns that will tighten the siege on their towns and make them taste the deadly smells. The most important thing is to prevent them from implementing development projects for their towns, which makes them feel suffocated.

The battles between the citizens and the police forces did not subside, and resumed the next day, despite the arrest of dozens.

After the clashes, newspapers were published, covering all of their front pages with a huge picture of the violent confrontations between the residents and the police, and a blatant headline all over the page: Intifada!!
