Born in the village of Marj, West Bekaa, Lebanon. He studied elementary and intermediate sciences in his village, then moved to the neighboring city of Zahle to complete his secondary education. Then he joined the Faculty of Law in Beirut. Forced to leave his homeland when the civil war broke out in Lebanon, he immigrated to the United States, where he obtained a degree in Business Administration from the University of Toledo, Ohio. He then moved to Saudi Arabia for a few years before settling in the United States where he set up his own business and became a businessman. He has multiple writings in Arabic poetry and literature. He is committed to Arab and national causes, human rights, social justice and equality.
